Personal Banking - Checking

Peoples State Bank of Colfax offers three types of Checking accounts.

Regular Non-Interest Checking

Our Regular Non-Interest Checking for Personal or Business requires an opening deposit of $100.00. To avoid any monthly fees, your average account balance must be $300.00 for the cycle. If your average monthly balance falls below $300.00, we will impose a service fee of $6.00 for that month. Service fee will be waived if you are over the age of 65, a full time student, in the military, or an organization for non-profit.

NOW Interest Checking

Our NOW Interest Checking account requires an opening deposit of $1,000.00. This account pays interest. Interest will be compounded every month and credited to your account monthly. A service fee of $10.00 will be imposed each month if your average daily balance for the month falls below $1,000.00.

Money Market Checking

Our Money Market Checking account requires an opening deposit of $2,500.00. This account pays interest. Interest will be compounded every month and credited to your account monthly. A service fee of $10.00 will be imposed each month if your average daily balance for the month falls below $2,500.00. Transfers from a Money Market account to another account are limited to six per statement cycle.
